One of North America’s largest providers of architectural, structural and utility precast concrete solutions has been reorganized around two distinct businesses: Tindall Building Systems Group and Tindall Infrastructure Group, led respectively by Rob Smith and Joel Sheets, both senior vice president of Operations. Tindall Corp. management views the change in structure as fostering more opportunities for focused growth and enhanced capabilities to react positively to the changing construction landscape.

“This realignment allows our company to pay that much closer attention to what we do well and what sets us apart as we aggressively seek ways to continue to serve customers and deliver innovative solutions to numerous market segments,” says Tindall Corp. President and CEO Greg Force. “Because of the strength and tenure of our team and their commitment to bring passion and ingenuity to every challenging opportunity, Tindall distinguishes itself as more than a provider of precast concrete products. We’ve become an industry leader in developing cutting-edge building system and infrastructure solutions.”

The Tindall Building Systems Group spans five precast, prestressed concrete divisions under South Carolina, Georgia, Mississippi, Texas and Virginia banners. With greater product capabilities and more engineering horsepower than ever, it will continue to expand into the residential, commercial, institutional, manufacturing and warehouse/distribution market segments, bringing engineered precast solutions.

Tindall Infrastructure Group succeeds the former namesake Utility Division. The Group is based at an advanced facility—loaded with automated wet cast production technology—that opened in mid-2021 on a greenfield near the Tindall Corp. headquarters in Upstate South Carolina. Engineering and production teams at the plant are already developing the next generation of precast infrastructure and industrial solutions.
