The venture capital unit of CRH Plc is accepting applications through March 28 for its latest accelerator program, Roads of the Future. Open to Construction and Climate Technology start-ups poised to advance surface transportation infrastructure, the CRH Ventures program will identify companies that can demonstrate solutions to specific challenges within three distinctive segments: Smart and Safe Roads, Green and Resilient Roads, and Productivity in Road Construction. Selected start-ups will have an opportunity to pilot and scale their solutions in collaboration with CRH operating companies in North America and Europe.
“Roads form the arteries of our society, and the Roads of the Future accelerator is our commitment to driving further innovation across this vital area of infrastructure,” says CRH Ventures Head Eduardo Gomez. “We invite start-ups to join us in helping shape the roads of the future, leveraging CRH’s unmatched expertise and scale in road construction.”
A portal for Roads of the Future applications is posted at www.crhventures.com. Applicant evaluations will take place throughout April and May, followed by a June-December pilot phase for selected start-ups.
