TCC Group has added intellectual property and concrete hardscape unit capacity in a deal for the Versa-Lok family of companies, based in Oakdale, Minn. TCC Materials will become Versa-Lok Retaining Wall Systems licensor, manage the national licensee group, and provide geogrid, pins, fabrics, accessories, mold parts and marketing support. The TCC National Sales team will promote the newly acquired brand, Brute and Bronco Big Block retaining wall systems, plus Tenon concrete chemicals, powders, and repair or restoration materials.

TCC Materials’ Amcon Concrete Products business will operate the Faribault and Kimball, Minn. plants of Willow Creek Concrete Products, acquired along with Versa-Lok Retaining Wall Systems. Amcon Concrete will also assume sales functions of the former Versa-Lok Midwest business, offering six residential and nine segmental retaining wall systems, plus the Brute and Bronco Big Block series.

“We are excited to expand our national footprint in hardscapes,” adds TCC Group Senior Vice President Brian DiGrado. “The Versa-Lok culture complements our strong devotion to service, understanding customer needs, technical support, and complete quality assurance.”

Along with namesake, Amcon Concrete and Tenon businesses, TCC Group spans Borgert Products and Nova Brik International. Group companies have 30-plus facilities in nine states. Concurrent with the TCC, Versa-Lok and Willow Creek transaction, Rock Hard Landscape Supply of Burnsville, Minn. acquired Minnesota’s top Versa-Lok dealer, Patio Town, and its Villa Landscapes design business.
