The virtual ACI Concrete Conference on Fiber-Reinforced Polymers, 8-11 a.m. EST on June 1-2, will offer technical presentations on innovative ways FRP is being used in the industry and highlight the practical application of how such reinforcements can extend structures’ service life. Presentations will focus on projects where risk of corrosion leads to use of FRP, case studies of unique uses of FRP in concrete work internationally, how FRP composites are used for seismic strengthening, and coastal construction using FRP to reinforce concrete. Attendees will be eligible to receive continuing education credits and have access to presentation recordings. An update on NEx: An ACI Center of Excellence for Nonmetallic Building Materials, will also be provided. Conference registration, $59 (ACI members), $99 (nonmembers) can be obtained here.
