The National Concrete Masonry Association is finalizing the agenda for the International Concrete Exposition 2018: Machinery & Equipment Show. Staged at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, the February 9-10 program will feature 16 trade show hours, plus a host of new features for attendees. ICON Expo 2018 will be held in conjunction with NCMA Annual Convention, February 6-8, and the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute’s Annual Meeting, February 11-14.

Insulating concrete forms rise to U.S.-record height at New York site

Voorheesville, N.Y.-based ICF Panels will supply panelized insulating concrete forms in up to 50-ft. lengths for 42 Broad, a 249-unit, Westchester County, N.Y., development. The 16-story luxury apartment project will set a new height record for ICF-built structures in the U.S., taking a page from Ontario practitioners’ recent experience with mid-rise structures of comparable design near Toronto.
