Construction Startup Competition 2024 sponsors are accepting entries in their recognition, networking and financing program through June 30. Construction and clean technology developers can enter Green Construction (sustainability), Enhanced Productivity (efficiency), Construction Supply Chain (on time) or Future of Construction (disruptive) categories at the competition portal.

Cemex Ventures, the venture capital arm of Cemex S.A.B. de C.V., oversees the competition with Caterpillar Inc., Dysruptek by Haskell, Ferrovial, Hilti, VINCI Group’s Leonard, NOVA by Saint-Gobain, Trimble, and Zacua Ventures. They enable participants to network with potential clients and partners, earn capital, pilot in global markets, and pitch to active industry investors and potential business partners. Three category winners will receive cash prizes at this year’s Pitch Day, the final competition milestone, held in Las Vegas during the Trimble Dimensions User Conference, November 11-13.

Over the last seven years, the Construction Startup Competition has been a launching pad for upward of 3,000 new businesses, with 36 winners collectively raising nearly $400 million in financing. More than one third of winners have received investment from and/or are working with one or more of the competition hosts. Three construction technology acceleration programs use the competition as a qualified pipeline to build their cohorts.
