After showing initial, road-ready models at ConExpo-Con/Agg earlier this year, Continental Mixers has formally opened the order book for the Thoroughbred mixer, capable of hauling 10 yd. of concrete under the federal bridge formula. Company engineers bill the model as “a solution that provides the highest stability, productivity, and reliability in the industry” and representing an “innovative approach to the issues of ruggedness and weight savings.”
