“Kimble manufactures products to perform at the highest levels in challenging operator environments,” says Frank Busicchia, president of Commercial Specialty Truck Holdings, of which Continental is a part. “They are an ideal fit with Continental as both brands have an exceptionally strong focus on manufacturing quality products and growing loyal customer relationships.”
“This acquisition will allow us to gain market share and enhance the level of service we provide customers,” he adds. “With Continental being an operator-owned and -led company, Kimble customers will now have access to the entire team, right up to the leadership. Together, we will build lasting customer, vendor and employee relationships, [and] combine our manufacturing processes, technologies and supply chain resources to elevate product quality even higher.”
Kimble is based in New Philadelphia, Ohio, near Akron, where it has designed, fabricated and assembled rear discharge mixers since 1994.
