Manufacturers – October 2023

York, Neb.-based cementitious material blending and transfer equipment specialist Cyclonaire Corp. formally marked 50 years in operation and paid homage to late founder Don Baker with a gathering of nearly 300 current and past employees, partners, community members, representatives and vendors. The event saw the unveiling of the Don Baker Breakroom, designed to serve as a meeting place for employees to assemble and continue to celebrate a culture critical to the company’s success. The room is designed with elements from each of Cyclonaire’s primary sectors: Cement, Rubber, Rail, Mineral and Battery.

Cyclonaire is currently operated under the guidance Prospect Partners and Schilling Ventures, officials of which were on hand for the 50th anniversary gathering. Cyclonaire offered guided tours of the manufacturing facility and CycloTech, the advanced technology and testing center where guests observed an in-depth discussion on Cyclonaire Dense, Semi-Dense and Dilute equipment and systems.

“For 50 years, Cyclonaire has continued to provide unparalleled pneumatic conveying solutions that help our global customers meet their unique needs in an ever-changing marketplace,” said President Scott Schmid. “We are continually growing our team, living core values, expanding resources, refining services, and evolving to meet the needs of customers.”
