The latest move in Chaney Enterprises’ most ambitious expansion program to date is construction of a Powell’s Point, N.C. ready mixed concrete plant. “We are eager to work with local contractors and customers to provide quality construction materials while meeting their specific needs,” says CEO Francis “Hall” Chaney, III.
Located west of the Outer Banks, the operation will be the producer’s first in the state and extend a Chesapeake and Norfolk, Va. platform created in an August 2021 ready mixed plant and aggregate depot deal with Branscome Inc. Three other 2020-21 transactions (GreenRock Materials, Superior Concrete, TW Block) plus a greenfield plant in Lorton (2020) have positioned Chaney Enterprises as a key concrete player in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
