Climate policy stakeholders will join North American and global cement executives at Climate Week New York City to review how carbon capture technology, alternative fuel and raw material adoption, and government regulations or incentives are helping the industry’s quest for net zero carbon emissions. They will convene 8-11 a.m. on September 19 at 1250 Broadway for a continental breakfast and networking, followed by “Carbon Capture: A Breakthrough Moment?” and “Getting to Carbon Neutrality by Going with the Alternatives” panel discussions. Participation is free of charge to stakeholders and members of the public who register here; the panels will be presented on Zoom Communications platform to those registering here.

Officers from the Portland Cement Association, Washington, D.C. and Global Cement and Concrete Association, London will anchor the program—one of the sector-specific presentations that U.K. non-profit Climate Group has scheduled as part of 2023 Climate Week NYC, September 17-24 at multiple Big Apple venues.
