A new, portable system consisting of the Sono-WZ probe and Sono-DIS meter, can measure fresh concrete water content directly in a matter of minutes and display the mix’s water-cement ratio. Quality control technicians and other users can rapidly test multiple samples and view the results in SI or Imperial units as real-time averages. The portable system suits field or lab testing. A companion device, the Sono-M1, can expand Sono-DIS meter functionality to measure aggregates moisture levels.
