Mixer Systems mobilizes Cor-Tuf UHPC mix production

Cor-Tuf UHPC, the exclusive licensed producer of namesake ultra-high performance concrete in North America and markets worldwide, is bringing its mix technology into daily heavy/civil practice. A mobile batch plant model developed with Mixer Systems Inc., the CT-25, enables producers and contractors to deliver agency-grade mixes to any jobsite under any conditions.

“Our one-of-a-kind UHPC mobile batch plant brings us into mainstream concrete,” says Cor-Tuf Founder and Chairman Douglas Darling. “The plant is 100 percent American made, constructed from readily available, off-the-shelf parts, and requires zero custom fabrication. You can take anyone who has worked in a batch plant facility and put them to work today with the Cor-Tuf UHPC mobile equipment. No learning curve.”

Contractors and their crews will be able to mix load after load of Cor-Tuf concrete right on the job site, he adds, working it into the regular rhythm of their operations while also generating batch tickets conforming with standardized delivery methodologies. Cor-Tuf UHPC is formulated to develop compressive strength in the 20,000-35,000 psi range. The material is pourable, pumpable, and sprayable, and can be mixed and transported with any kind of conventional concrete machinery.

The CT-25 plant is equipped for 10 yd./hour of Cor-Tuf ultra-high performance concrete mixes. Cor-Tuf has tested the mobile batch plant with lead licensee Dura-Stress Inc. of Leesburg, Fla. Mixer Systems tailors the plant for fully automated production at remote locations.
