“The 2020 World of Concrete Auction was our best ever … a tremendous success, both in terms of the value of donated items and number of attendees. The results are indicative of the high value the concrete industry places on the CIM program,” affirms CIM Auction Committee Chairman Ben Robuck (Cemex USA).
Along with the biggest ticket items, CIM Marketing Committee Chairman Brian Gallagher cites cement and admixture donations from Argos, BASF, Cemex USA, Chryso, CarbonCure Technologies, Euclid Chemical, GCP Applied Technologies, LafargeHolcim, Lehigh Hanson, Martin Marietta, Roanoke Cement, Sika Corp. and St Marys Cement. “We thank the many companies that donated items to the Auction to make it a complete success,” he adds. “Once again, we had incredible support from the World of Concrete show management, Informa and Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers.”
The CIM National Steering Committee timed release of its 2018-2019 annual report with World of Concrete 2020 and namesake auction. The document includes reports from Education, Marketing, Auction, Finance and Membership committees plus the Tennessee, New Jersey, Texas and California CIM programs, along with MBA degree update and CIM student, graduate and patron profiles.
“The report is a summary of amazing achievements of the CIM programs. It reflects the commitment, dedication and effort of program leaders, faculty and students,” notes CIM Marketing Committee Chairman Brian Gallagher. “Each year, I am more impressed with the quality and amount of activity completed by faculty and students.”
