The largest processor of raw natural pozzolans for performance mixes and Class F fly ash substitution will invest more than $10 million over a three-year period to increase capacity at a Pueblo, Colo. operation dedicated to concrete and oil & gas grades. CR Minerals aims to more than triple production capabilities of its Tephra NP, OG and (remediated fly ash) RFA pumiceous materials.
Wieser Concrete Products, Inc. is anticipating early Spring completion of a 20,000-sq.-ft. Maiden Rock, Wis., headquarters plant expansion, fittingly timed with the producer observing its 50th anniversary in 2015.
Con-Tech Manufacturing is set to close out 2014 with a 65,000 sq. ft. addition to its plant, housing new central parts department, paint lines, drum-mounting stations, shipping & receiving department, and offices. The construction will bring the total to 200,000 sq. ft. that the mixer truck manufacturer has under roof at its Dodge Center, Minn., headquarters.
