Libra Systems broadens Command Alkon aggregate, asphalt platform

Command Alkon has announced a transaction under which Harleysville, Pa.-based Libra Systems Inc. becomes a wholly owned subsidiary. Libra Systems brings the construction material information technology leader new plant automation, scale ticketing, and business integration solutions geared to aggregate, asphalt and concrete producers. 

“Libra Systems and Command Alkon have nearly 100 years’ combined expertise in the heavy work industry,” says Command Alkon CEO Phil Ramsey. “We’re excited to combine our approaches to make it simple for customers to take advantage of the cost-savings and maximized production and delivery operations that our solutions deliver across the construction materials supply chain.”
