ACI cancels Concrete Convention

A disaster proclamation from Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker, driven by Covid-19 virus concerns and curtailing most public gatherings of 250 or more—coupled with widespread employer travel restrictions affecting some attendees—has compelled ACI’s cancellation of the Concrete Convention, scheduled March 29-April 2 near Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport. Requests for registration fee refunds can be directed to [email protected]. No action is needed from those opting to donate paid fees to help offset Institute costs for the convention cancellation.

Registration trajectory points toward near-record ConExpo-Con/Agg

ConExpo-Con/Agg and International Fluid Power Exposition organizers closed out the last week of February with 4,000-plus new registrations for their March 10-14 equipment, education and networking bonanza at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
