The National Steering Committee for the Concrete Industry Management program has announced that it is seeking donations for its 11th annual auction to be staged Wednesday, February 3, at the Las Vegas Convention Center, amid World of Concrete 2016. A silent auction will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., immediately followed by live bidding.

Organizers of the 10th Concrete Industry Management program auction cite $800,000 in gross revenue from silent, online and live bidding, with proceeds benefitting CIM degree programs at Middle Tennessee State University, Murfreesboro; California State University, Chico; New Jersey Institute of Technology; and, Texas State University.

Cemex USA, Holcim (US) Inc., Lafarge North America, Lehigh Hanson Inc. and Titan America have each donated 10 truckloads of portland cement to the 10th annual CIM Auction, February 4 at the Las Vegas Convention Center—in conjunction with the 2015 World of Concrete.

Against a 2015 World of Concrete backdrop, the 10th annual auction benefitting Concrete Industry Management programs at Middle Tennessee State University, Murfreesboro and four other schools will be February 4 in Las Vegas Convention Center room N262; 11 a.m.–12:45 p.m. silent bidding; 1 p.m. live bidding. Mack Trucks and McNeilus Cos. have teamed again to donate the auction centerpiece, dispatching to Las Vegas this year an 11-yd. Bridgemaster mounted on a Granite GU713 set-forward axle model, with MP7 365 hp engine and Allison RDS 4500 automatic transmission.
