With four 5-in. diameter pipe sections, the Alliance JXLZ 38M has vertical height and horizontal reach just shy of 112 feet and 109 feet. A 455-hp Paccar MX-13 engine and Allison 4500RDS six-speed automatic lead the Kenworth T880 specs.

Alliance Concrete Pumps, Kenworth Truck Co. and NorCal Kenworth are donating a JXLZ 38-meter boom pump and T880 chassis for the 2022 CIM Auction, January 19 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Based on a manufacturer’s suggested retail price north of $400,000, the vehicle becomes the most valuable donation in the 16-year history of the event, staged on World of Concrete day two with Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers overseeing silent and live bidding.

“We are very appreciative of the support from Alliance Concrete Pumps, NorCal Kenworth and Kenworth Truck Company,” says CIM Auction Committee Chairman Ben Robuck. “Their support speaks volumes to their commitment to the concrete industry and the importance they place on the CIM program. This truck-mounted concrete pump will help ensure a successful auction.”

“Alliance Concrete Pumps is excited to donate its most popular boom model to the CIM Auction,” adds President and CEO Clayton White. “We are also very proud to be part of procuring young and up-and-coming talent for the concrete industry.”

Auction proceeds benefit Concrete Industry Management undergraduate and graduate degree programs at Middle Tennessee State University, Murfreesboro; New Jersey Institute of Technology, Newark; Texas State University, San Marcos; California State University, Chico; and, South Dakota State University, Brookings.
