The Volumetric Mixer Operator Certification Program can be used to provide a career path while improving customer service skills, along with company and industry image. Open to candidates with at least three months’ on-the-job experience, the NRMCA-administered program spans Safety, Concrete Technology, Volumetric Operation and Maintenance, and Customer and Company Relations sections. Each is covered in a VMMB workbook outlining a standard of knowledge and skills a professional volumetric mixer operator should possess.
