Boral Building Products Executive General Manager David Mariner will return in June from an 18-month Australia tour of duty to become Boral USA president and chief executive officer. He joined Boral USA in 2010, overseeing the Cultured Stone business, then the Cladding Division, and assumed his current overseas post in December 2014.
Prior to Boral USA, Mariner served in management capacities with Holcim (US) Inc. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Michigan Technological University and a Masters in Business Administration from Clemson University. He succeeds Al Borm, who has been at the Boral USA helm since October 2012, and will remain in an advisory capacity for a transition period, while continuing to serve on the USG Boral joint venture board.
