Eyeing prospects for its namesake prestressed plank and wall products throughout the Southeast, Spancrete is upgrading a Newnan, Ga., plant. The producer projects full operation in January and a near-term payroll up to 40 at the property, located about 40 miles southwest of Atlanta.
“This is a unique opportunity for us to make the most of an existing site, so we’re able to make an impact in the community right away,” says Spancrete Southeast Region General Manager Kristin Szymczak.
