With the development of its Silotop R03 Filter, the company cites new standards in silo venting. The filter features Polypleat filter elements housed in a heavy-duty 304 stainless steel body, and an integrated automatic pulse jet cleaning system inside a weather protection cover. The special design of these tested filter media offers an optimum filter surface to body volume ratio.
To stop the weather protection cover from slamming shut during inspection and maintenance, the hinges automatically lock on opening. To close the cover, users simply release manually. The snap hook of the cover can be secured by padlock, if necessary.
The Polypleat filter elements can be easily inspected through a hatch positioned in the lower part of the body, therefore avoiding the need of opening the weather protection cover. A pressure differential monitoring device can be ordered as an option. Two special cross sections of the two gaskets—one positioned between the body and the tube sheet and the second one, between the body and the silo flange—guarantee sealing. Once the safety locking nuts are loosened, the Polypleat elements can be pulled out one by one without the aid of any tool.
