The NCMA Sustainability Task Group has become the Environmental Product Declaration Task Group, as members respond to green building practitioner demands for transparency in raw material content and production method reporting.
The EPD Task Group is charged with reviewing developments in product category rules (PCR) and environmental declarations for NCMA members’ building and landscaping units; determining the best course of industry action for PCR and EPD document development; and, providing tools for EPD preparation.
