NRMCA is accepting through August 1 entries from producer member companies demonstrating the most innovative training initiatives of 2010–2011. The Innovation in Training Award winner will be recognized at NRMCA’s 2011 ConcreteWorks on September 26 in San Diego. Furthermore, the winning producer’s program will be featured in a best-practices article in NRMCA’s quarterly magazine, Concrete InFocus. Middle Tennessee State University’s Concrete Institute Management faculty will serve as judges.

Separately, the association is also accepting applications for its 2011 Excellence in Quality Award competition. As an important focus of the NRMCA Prescriptive to Performance (P2P) Initiative, the award program was established to recognize companies that strive for continuous improvement through their quality initiatives and provide reasonable goals for those concrete producers interested in elevating their own quality management systems. Eligibility is limited to NRMCA producer members in good standing. Award winners will also be recognized at ConcreteWorks. Entry forms and additional information can be found here.
