NRMCA has updated and economized its Concrete Delivery Professional (CDP) program, offering certification candidates self-directed, self-paced training and instruction online. In addition to vehicle operating topics, the program documents and measures training for Occupational Safety and Health Administration and U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission recordkeeping.
Accessible 24 hours a day in 10- to 20-minute segments, CDP Online can train drivers between loads, plant maintenance duties and bad weather days. The exam is also delivered online so no proctors are needed. A driver gets his/her results immediately. In addition, NRMCA has developed an 11-minute online introduction/FAQ to the CDP program; sample clips of each study unit can be viewed in high definition at www.nrmca.org, or on YouTube.
