Sami Rizkalla is distinguished professor of civil engineering and construction at North Carolina State University in Raleigh and director of the Constructed Facilities Laboratory, NSF-I/UCRC, and NSF-I/UCRC. His current PCI involvement extends to chair of the FRP Composite Committee (to advance knowledge of fiber-reinforced polymer use for precast members and structures); membership on the Student Education and Research and Development committees; and, reviewer for PCI Journal.

Allan Kenney is chairman of Venice, Fla.-based Precast Systems Consultants, Inc. Past chairman of the Guide Specification for Architectural Precast Concrete Committee and coeditor of the Architectural Precast Concrete Manual, Second Edition (1989), he presently serves on the Architectural Precast Concrete Services and Manual Committee.

Charles Magnesio is senior vice president of engineering and technical marketing at JVI Inc. in Pittsfield, Mass. His current PCI participation includes membership on Parking Structures (also past chair), Total Precast Systems, and Marketing Comprehension committees.

Heinrich Bonstedt is executive director of the Prestressed Concrete Association of Pennsylvania in Allentown. Chair of the Marketing QA Committee, he also serves on the Bridge Producers (past chair), Student Education, Continuing Education, and Pavement committees; Transportation Activities, Regional, Educational Activities, and Marketing councils; and, Stimulus Task Group.

Rita Seraderian is executive director of Belmont, Mass.-based Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute Northeast, serving in that capacity for the past 20 years. Within PCI, she is vice chair of the Continuing Education Committee, incoming chair of the Regional Directors Council, and member of the Bridges, Student Education, and Continuing Education committees, as well as the Sustainability Council. She was instrumental in the development of PCI’s one-day Basic Prestressed Design Class.
