Funding in the amount of $460,000 has been awarded by the Concrete Industry Management National Steering Committee to its five CIM campuses, i.e., Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), Arizona State University, California State University, Chico, the New Jersey Institute of Technology, and Texas State University. In support of the business-intensive CIM curriculum that awards students with a four-year Bachelor of Science degree in Concrete Industry Management, NSC allotted the funding at its Fall board meeting at Arizona State University. MTSU Director and Associate Professor Heather Brown reports that NSC funds are used to send students to industry events, host industry members on campus, supply publications and resources to students, and purchase laboratory equipment.
