STANDARD EASI-SET BUILDING
- Meets IBC 2003 requirements
- 5,000-psi, steel-reinforced concrete
- Post-tensioned roof and floor, each by a single continuous tendon, creating radial compression
- Sloped roof panel with prefabricated, architectural ribbed edge
- Roof load capacity Û 60 psf standard, higher available
- Wind load Û 130 mph standard, higher available
- Rated Seismic Zone 4
- Floor load Û 250 psf standard, additional available.
ADDITIONAL EASI-SPAN SPECS
- Horizontal precast roof and floor joints sealed with polymer concrete-grouted keyways and longitudinal post-tensioning [Post-tensioning creates the equivalent of monolithic two-way slab design]
- Optional expandable feature, maintaining structural integrity and watertightness
EASI-SET HAZMAT STORAGE
Meets EPA Spill Containment requirements 40 CFR.264.175; ACI 318-97 Building Code Requirements for Reinforced Concrete; Concrete Reinforcing Institute Manual of Standard Practice; and, ANSO Building Code Requirements for Minimum Design Loads in Buildings and Other Structures
Easi-Set and Easi-Span building fabrication entails casting of separate wall, roof, and floor panel components. The patented, post-tensioned roof and floor design increases average compressive strengths by 28 percent and distribution of radial compressive forces by 33 percent, product developers note. Easi-Set models typically are preassembled at the factory, allowing delivery and off-loading in one piece. Field assembly for Easi-Span buildings involves erection on an Easi-Span precast floor slab or the customer’s slab-on-grade. Various finishes are available.
