National Ready Mixed Concrete Association, Portland Cement Association, and Land Development Today magazine have scheduled a second round of Pervious Concrete Û A Stormwater Solution seminar sessions in six cities this summer. The one-day program will be staged in Detroit, July 10; Lexington, Ky., July 12; Washington, D.C., July 24; Pittsburgh, July 26; Minneapolis, August 7; and, Milwaukee, August 9.
Launched this past winter with six sessions, the program provides detailed instruction on how to implement pervious concrete pavements as a solution to reducing stormwater runoff from building sites and other paved areas. Attendees will learn details of pavement systems, engineering properties and construction techniques. Participants will earn six Professional Development Hours upon completing this program.
