NRMCA is accepting through month’s end entries for the 2012 Commitment to Environmental Excellence Awards, recognizing U.S. and Canadian producers’ fixed operations in five 25,000- to 200,000-plus-yd. annual production volume categories. The association has expedited a paper-free entry process with image-file uploading and an online form—available here—for producers to detail plant criteria ranging from site aesthetics, environmental documentation, training and employee involvement to sustainable practices, operating challenges, community relations, plus air quality and water or solid waste management.
