Wally Hernandez has joined Besser Co. as sales and technical support representative, based in Florida and responsible for the entire product line. A Dominican Republic native, he moved to Florida at the age of 11 and, after graduating from high school, completed a tour of duty with the Marines, working in helicopter hydraulics maintenance.
A marketing agreement will see the Besser Co. sales organization promote the Rosetta Hardscapes product line to domestic and international prospects, augmenting the latter company’s sales efforts. The variety of Rosetta units and plant equipment offerings, Besser officials note, will appeal to producers throughout manufactured and ready mixed concrete.

Kyle Wundt has joined Rober Ober & Associates LLC as engineer, based in the San Antonio design center headquarters. He has 15-plus years of engineering experience, and will be responsible for the design and specification of bulk material handling systems on local, regional and global projects.
Command Alkon has promoted Gustavo Vargas to vice president. Over 16-plus years, he has served as sales manager, account manager, director of Strategic Marketing, and currently leads the MOBILEconnect division, with additional responsibility for Command Alkon’s Brazilian operations. Vargas holds a master’s degree in Business Administration and a bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering.
