U.S. concrete reinforcing steel market leader CMC is licensing short span bridge technology from Australia-based InQuik Inc., whose easily transported, modular component system is engineered to reduce on-site labor requirements and yield 100-year service life crossings. The partnership will leverage CMC’s extensive reach, manufacturing capacity, infrastructure expertise and ability to rapidly deploy innovative bridge solutions at scale, notes InQuik President Logan Mullaney.

Self-supporting InQuik components yield premium concrete bridges faster and more economically when measured against traditional cast-in-place methods.

“InQuik products are highly engineered, value-added systems which expand the portfolio of solutions we provide to the construction industry,” says CMC Emerging Business Group Senior Vice President Michael Doucet. “The CMC-InQuik partnership will enable bridge owners to maximize use of their funds by building bridges more quickly, cost effectively and efficiently.”

D.A. Davidson & Co., Denver, served as exclusive financial advisor to InQuik on its strategic partnership with CMC. Founded in Australia, InQuik has established a North American presence through operations in Colorado.
