EPA has kicked off a year-long celebration leading to observance of a 50th anniversary, December 2, 2020. “Since the agency’s inception under the leadership of the late Administrator William Ruckelshaus, EPA staff have worked tirelessly to clean up our air, water, and land for the American people,” says Administrator Andrew Wheeler. “Together, we have achieved significant milestones in support of our mission to protect human health and the environment.”

FMCSA opens CDL Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse registration

Commercial driver’s license or commercial learner’s permit holders, employers, medical review officers, and substance abuse professionals can now register and create a secure online user account for the Commercial Driver’s License Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse. Registration ensures access to the portal, which will be fully implemented on January 6, 2020, and abides a Congressional mandate for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.
