Kenworth, Con-Tech time charity-rooted auction with ConExpo-Con/Agg

Kenworth Truck, Kenworth of Central Florida and Con-Tech Manufacturing are providing a T880S-mounted BridgeKing mixer for auction on March 13, the fourth day of ConExpo-Con/Agg, Las Vegas. Proceeds will support Ronald McDonald House of Rochester, Minn.; Make-a-Wish of Minnesota; St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital; and, Wounded Warrior Project.

CC030320 Truck iiDonating its services, Ritchie Bros. of Las Vegas will conduct live bidding for the vehicle, which Con-Tech will display at Booth 63241 in the Las Vegas Convention Center South Hall. The Kenworth T880S with set-forward front axle is the go-to configuration for ready mixed producers bound by federal bridge formulas. The show truck is equipped with a Paccar MX-11 engine rated at 430 hp and 1,650 lb.-ft. of torque, plus mixer package featuring 11-yd. Con-Tech High Performance Drum. Joining the body builder, OEM and Orlando-based Kenworth of Central Florida as contributing suppliers are Allison Transmissions (7-speed automatic), Hendrickson Intl. (46K rear suspension), Meritor (20K front, 46K rear axles), and Watson & Chalin (13.5 steerable lift axle), along with Alcoa and Bridgestone (wheels, tires).

“This special joint project will produce excellent financial support to four outstanding organizations and help many people this year,” says Kenworth of Central Florida Principal Rob Sutton.
