The parent of rear and front discharge mixer truck leader McNeilus Cos. has announced an executive transition, effective January 2016: Wilson Jones, president and chief operating officer, will replace Charlie Szews as chief executive officer. Since his 2005 appointment as Oshkosh Airport Products Business Unit vice president and general manager, Jones has held executive vice president and president posts in the Access Equipment (JLG) and Fire & Emergency (Pierce) segments—companions to the Commercial segment over McNeilus. In addition to the CEO appointment, he will replace Szews on the Oshkosh board.

Joining Oshkosh in 1996 as chief financial officer, Szews served as president and COO from 2007 to 2011, when he was appointed CEO. “Charlie led our company through numerous historical milestones and contributed to growth from $400 million in sales in 1996 to more than $6 billion expected in 2015,” says Oshkosh Chairman Richard Donnelly.
