Royal White has developed a calcium sulfoaluminate (CSA) cement suited to agencies specifying very high early strength concrete for highway or runway pavement construction or repairs, plus customers seeking a CSA base in precast production or grout, shotcrete and underlayment applications. RWC CSA Cement attains compressive strengths of 4,000, 6,000 and 10,000 psi at three hours, 24 hours and 28 days, respectively.

After a World of Concrete preview earlier this year, GCP (Grace Construction and Packaging) has officially introduced the Tytro Shotcrete System, underscoring its potential to make underground construction processes better, faster and more economical against conventional methods and mix designs. It spans GCP’s Strux BT macro-fiber and six Tytro family agents; newest among them is RC, a nanotechnology-derived, liquid rheology control modifier functioning as a pozzolan and silica fume alternative.
The RMX-5000 Mixer/Pump has 15 percent more pumping pressure than any other machine of its size on the market, company engineers note, and is one of the manufacturer’s five models for concrete repair and shotcrete.
