Rock Products magazine has released an exhaustive directory of sand & gravel and crushed stone operations in conjunction with its April edition. The 2020 Aggregates Industry Atlas maps more than 6,000 crushed stone, sand & gravel, and dredging operations state-by-state; plus, a companion directory provides contact details and parent company references where applicable.

The publisher of Concrete Products and Rock Products has acquired Aggregates Manager, a monthly title geared to crushed stone and sand & gravel producers, from Alabama-based Randall-Reilly. Effective the January 2020 issue, Semco Publishing will merge the magazine into Rock Products. Longtime Aggregates Manager Editor-in-Chief Therese Dunphy will become a monthly contributor and producer of the annual “Aggregates Atlas.”

The number of improving housing markets continued to expand for a third consecutive month in November, rising from 23 to 30 on the latest National Association of Home Builders/First American Improving Markets Index. The list dropped two metropolitan areas and added nine new ones—Fort Collins, Colo.; Hinesville, Ga.; Davenport, Iowa; Monroe, La.; Lima, Ohio; Williamsport, Pa.; Corpus Christi and Tyler, Texas; and, Cheyenne, Wyo.
