Dominguez heads North to succeed Cemex USA chief Madridejos

A routine Cemex executive suite shuffling will see Jaime Muguiro Dominguez, president of South, Central America and the Caribbean, transition September 1 to the post of Cemex USA president, succeeding 23-year company veteran Ignacio Madridejos. Replacing Dominguez will be Cemex Executive Vice President of Sustainability and Operations Development Jesus Gonzalez. His successor, Executive Vice President of Global Commercial Development Juan Romero Torres, will maintain his present duties in a new role, executive vice president of Sustainability, Commercial and Operations Development. Torres’ responsibilities will include Energy, Health & Safety, Procurement, Research & Development, and Technology.
