Minnesota-based precast, prestressed producer Wells has appointed Ana Egloff as Regional Facades Manager – Mountain States, where she will leverage her background in architecture, prefabrication and business development to grow awareness of integrated concrete panel and glazing solutions. She is tasked with continuing to push design boundaries to expand Wells’ reach into new markets and strengthen relationships with architects, developers, and engineers—introducing innovative prefabricated and unitized building envelope solutions that improve project efficiency and performance. Egloff’s career began in architecture before she transitioned to the building solutions industry 12 years ago, working in client-facing and business development roles. She holds a master’s degree in architecture from the Savannah College of Art and Design and an MBA from INCAE, the top business school in Latin America.
“Ana’s unique combination of skillsets related to architecture, the construction industry, and business development make her a great match for the position,” says Wells Vice President of Facades Dan Stenzel. “We are confident that her passion, focus, and leadership will be valued by our design partners and contribute significantly to our growth.”
Separately, Wells has named Matthew Ziska as vice president of Environmental Health & Safety. He will oversee all EHS aspects, focusing on enhancing safety culture and integrating safety practices at operations throughout the Southeast, Midwest and Mountain States. Ziska brings over two decades of experience in the safety and environmental fields, with a background in leadership roles across various industries. He has served as a field safety manager, led major employers’ Occupational Safety and Health Administration compliance efforts, and fostered a safety-first culture at complex operational sites. He holds a PhD in Public Policy and Administration, along with various other degrees in safety technology, environmental science, and organizational behavior. He also holds multiple certifications, including Certified Safety Professional and Certified Business Continuity Professional.
“Matthew’s extensive experience, credentials, and leadership philosophy make him a great fit for this role,” says Wells Chief Legal & Safety Officer Jennifer Jaskolka. “We are confident that his contributions will elevate our safety programs to new heights, benefitting our employees, clients, and the communities we serve.”
United Kingdom cement, aggregate and concrete operator Breedon Group Plc has closed a $238 million deal for Lionmark Construction Companies LLC, significantly expanding a U.S. footprint established with the 2024 acquisition of BMC Enterprises, St. Louis peer and neighbor. Lionmark Construction has been recognized for excellence in safety, quality and customer satisfaction, owing to team members’ commitment to producing aggregates and asphalt, and building or maintaining surface transportation infrastructure. The transaction stands to more than double Breedon Group’s revenue this side of the Atlantic, while also increasing vertical integration efficiencies.
“The acquisition represents a significant milestone in the development of our business. Lionmark is extremely complementary to our existing operations, diversifying BMC’s product to supply asphalt and surfacing solutions into an attractive market which is well-positioned for future growth,” says Breedon U.S. Managing Director Andy Arnold.
“In a year we have built a U.S. business of scale that is already on a pro-forma basis the equivalent size of our Irish business,” adds Breedon Group CEO Ron Wood. “We are delighted to welcome our new colleagues and look forward to working with them as we continue to expand Breedon’s presence in the United States.”
