Holcim, Continental veteran Morin succeeds Titan Florida’s Dunlap

Jason Morin has joined Titan America as president of the Deerfield Beach-based Florida Business Unit. He succeeds Randy Dunlap, who took the helm in 2014 and will continue with Titan America as executive director, Growth & Strategy. The Florida Business Unit spans the Pennsuco cement plant plus rail and marine import terminals; two fly ash sites; three quarries; eight concrete block; and, 40 ready mixed plants. Management anticipates Morin leading the profit center into “a new chapter of topline growth, margin expansion, and value creation while strengthening ongoing relationships with customers, suppliers, and communities where Titan America operates.”

After a U.S. Army officer tour, Morin held strategic sourcing and operations leadership roles at General Electric. He entered the heavy building materials business in 2001 through Holcim (US), serving in plant manager, production manager and vice president of Environmental & Government Affairs roles. He joined Summit Materials’ Continental Cement business in 2015, assisting in the integration of newly acquired Lafarge cement production and distribution assets from Iowa to points south. More recently, he was chief executive officer of Black Mountain Sand, Texas-based fracking sand producer.
