Outrigger stabilization

Company offers three principal solutions to augment concrete contractor safety and productivity. The SteelTech Dunnage System combines the strength of steel with an engineered thermoplastic material, ensuring optimal concrete pump stability and load distribution. System’s interlocking design enables easy storage and setup by one crew member. Available in two sizes, SteelTech supports outrigger floats up to 21 inches, with rated capacities from 60,000 to 110,000 lbs.

The FiberTech MultiPad System is available in six configurations to support a range of equipment sizes, from small to large concrete pumps, with rated capacities equal to maximum outrigger forces from 60,000-110,000 lbs. The pads feature ergonomically placed TuffGrip handles for easy handling and placement.

LevelRight suits concrete pumps and other equipment requiring level operation. Users can easily adjust the overall angle from 0-10 degrees and adjust in two planes up to 5 degrees. With a rated capacity of 350,000 lbs., LevelRight features a built-in bubble level to provide operators with confirmation when they have a level surface under their machine’s outriggers.

“Concrete pump operators often work alone in high-risk situations,” says DICA CEO Kris Koberg. “The small size of outrigger floats on concrete pump trucks concentrates pressure, making load distribution difficult. Our goal was to develop equipment support systems that provide the necessary stability, load distribution, and performance while also being easy to store and set up.” — DICA, Urbandale, Iowa
