A new Chaney Enterprises and York Building Products partnership will strengthen the role of Wilmington-based Heritage Concrete as Delaware ready mixed concrete market leader. A sister operation of York Building Products under the Stewart Companies in York, Pa., Heritage Concrete brings four concrete plants, while Chaney Enterprises contributes three. The combination will provide customers “decades of experience in supplying ready mixed concrete,” officials note, along with “great opportunities for the collective team members of the new Heritage Concrete.” Michael Petrillo will remain at the helm of the business, to operate as a Stewart and Chaney Company.
“This brings a great service network to our collective customers and continues our long-term construction material growth strategy,” says Chaney Enterprises CEO Francis Hall Chaney, III.
“This combination creates a strong platform for the future growth of Heritage Concrete,” adds Stewart Cos. CEO Dave Stewart.
