Vancouver, Wash.-based Columbia Machine Inc. has named Jeremy Dwyer as general manager of its Columbia PSI LLC (CPSI) business, charged with driving product innovation and growth in factory automation offerings. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and arrives with 10-plus years in design engineering and operational roles.

“CPSI products and services play a critical role in our long-term strategy to help customers with their factory automation needs in bagging, palletizing and packaging,” says Columbia Machine Chairman Rick Goode. “Jeremy’s experience and leadership will be a great addition to the CPSI team and our group of companies.”

Information technology services provider Sysdyne Technologies and concrete quality control device specialist Giatec have entered a strategic partnership aimed at simplifying concrete production through seamless software program integration. The fusion of Sysdyne’s cloud-based batching, dispatching, and delivery management technology plus Giatec SmartMix software integrates real-time data, allowing concrete producers to optimize mix designs and monitor quality seamlessly. The partnership ensures an easy and swift implementation, enabling clients to enhance every aspect of their production lifecycle through data-driven decisions.

Peterbilt Motors hosted the United Way of Denton County ‘s annual parade earlier this fall in its home base of Denton, Texas. The Pride & Class Parade raises awareness and donations for the organization and takes place around the historic Denton Square. Over 50 Peterbilt vehicles from across the United States and Canada were featured in the parade, including 567, 389X and 589 Models.

White Cap, Atlanta-based distributor of specialty construction supplies and safety products for professional contractors, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Triumph Geo-Synthetics Inc., an Anaheim, Calif. erosion control material and product distributor serving non-residential and infrastructure end markets.

“With Triumph Geo-Synthetic’s talented team, specialized expertise in geosynthetics and presence in southern California, we look forward to offering even stronger value-added service capabilities and extended breadth and depth of products for our local customers,” says White Cap CEO Alan Sollenberger. “It was important for us to partner with an established industry veteran that has a similar culture and dedication to exceptional service.

Concurrently, White Cap has acquired Valley Supply Inc., a Mechanicsburg, Pa. distributor of concrete accessories, fabricated rebar, chemicals and safety products serving non-residential and infrastructure end markets. “This acquisition is another step in our growth strategy, enhancing our product offerings and fabrication capabilities across the East Coast, positioning ourselves to deliver even greater value to our customers,” notes Sollenberger notes.

Shortly after the Valley Supply transaction, White Cap closed on TOOFast Supply. A supplier of professional grade tools and fasteners with four locations in Nebraska, it serves commercial, industrial, agricultural and residential end markets. “The TOOFast Supply team has built strong customer relationships through their commitment to not only supplying quality products, but also providing dependable service and industry expertise,” Sollenberg affirms.

FORMULATED MATERIALS WEARS BADGE OF HONOR
Specialty construction materials provider Formulated Materials has entered a partnership with Folds of Honor, highlighted by the unveiling of a custom-painted SmartBatch pump for next month’s World of Concrete in Las Vegas. Emblazoned with the Folds of Honor badge, the machine has already been sold in a pre-show transaction, yielding a $40,000 donation that Formulated Materials will steer to funding eight educational scholarships for families of fallen or disabled U.S. service members and first responders. Since its founding in 2007, Folds of Honor has awarded 60,000-plus scholarships, providing educational support and hope to the spouses and children of those who have sacrificed in armed forces duty.
