Minnesota-based Outdoor Living Supply has expanded its Southeast footprint, acquiring Majestic Stone Landscape Supply LLC, with Macon, Ga. headquarters yard and an Atlanta satellite. The full-service distributor of manufactured or natural stone, plus hardscape and landscape products was founded in 2002. Concurrently, OLS added old-line California retailer Garden Supply Hardscapes, a major source of Basalite and Belgard brands in San Francisco Bay and Silicon Valley markets. The deal includes San Jose headquarters and San Carlos satellite yards offering concrete pavers and segmental retaining wall units, natural stone, brick, lighting and bulk materials.
“I am grateful to have found a partner in OLS that will honor the Majestic Stone legacy while also providing extensive opportunities and benefits to our employees and customers,” notes Founder Al Irwin, who will remain active in the business, serving as ambassador and assisting in the transition to ensure continuity for customers.
“We chose Outdoor Living Supply because of their reputation for respecting the unique legacy of each of their local stores,” affirms Garden Supply principal Dennis Riches. “We look forward to strengthening the relationships we have developed over these many years.”
“Al Irwin and his team’s commitment to providing first-class service and industry-leading products has earned them an exceptional reputation. Our partnership will provide a tremendous growth opportunity for existing regional stores and an exciting runway for expansion in the Southeast,” says OLS CEO Brian Price. “Garden Supply is a special business that we have long admired. Their team’s deep experience and commitment to customer success aligns with our vision and growth strategy, making this an ideal partnership.”
“We are confident that OLS is dedicated to investing in our business, advancing our ability to provide the highest level of service, and creating growth opportunities for employees and loyal customers,” adds Garden Supply principal Ken Riches, who will continue to lead the business and oversee the two yards’ 51-member team.

ATLANTIC CONCRETE PRODUCTS
On the heels of the two transactions, hardscape unit distributor and retailer OLS acquired Mid-Atlantic Concrete Products and South-Atlantic Concrete Products, their respective Winston-Salem, N.C. and Cumming, Ga. locations serving residential and commercial accounts. Mid-Atlantic CP President and Managing Partner Ken Armistead has transitioned to a strategic role as ambassador. His South-Atlantic CP counterpart Rich Kearney continues with OLS as vice president of Commercial and Wholesale, a new post responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive recurring revenue from new and existing customers.
“These partnerships enhance our existing store network in North Carolina and Georgia and give us a significant foothold in the commercial hardscape market,” says Brian Price.
“Partnering with OLS enables us to maintain the family culture that we have built over 20 years,” observes Armistead. “OLS shares our drive and commitment to providing exceptional quality products and service.”
“Outdoor Living Supply provides expanded resources and a powerful growth platform, helping us take our commercial sales, talented team, loyal customers and suppliers to new levels,” concludes Kearney.
Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP served as legal advisor to OLS on the three transactions.
