Heritage Landscape Supply Group, a subsidiary of Home Depot’s recent mega bolt-on business, SRS Distribution Inc., has acquired Freshwater Farms Inc., a distributor of bulk materials, nursery products plus Belgard, Techo-Bloc and Unilock pavers, slabs and segmental retaining wall units. Freshwater Farms Founder Chuck Morse will continue to lead a 37-member team, operating on a 13-acre, Atkinson, N.H. site near the Massachusetts border. The company joins a family of distinct Heritage Supply brands spanning 215 locations across 36 states.
“We are extremely fortunate to have found a like-minded business leader, who brings a wealth of industry knowledge to our combined organization,” says Heritage Supply President Chris McMurrough. “This partnership represents our first footprint in New Hampshire, with access to the greater Boston metropolitan area.”
“From the start, we knew we had found the right partner in Heritage, an organization that mirrors our values and entrepreneurial culture,” affirms Morse. “With their backing, we look forward to elevating opportunities for employees, expanding offerings from vendors, and doubling down on the best-in-class service that our customers have come to expect.”
