The new M18 FUEL Duplex Nailer is engineered to increase productivity and optimize ergonomics of concrete form assembly, firing up to three nails per second. Compared to the manual hammer and nail method, the tool performs seven times faster while providing a safer and less fatiguing solution to sink up to 800 nails per charge.
“Through continuous research, we find the vast majority of concrete framework is assembled by hand driving nails with a hammer, which can be both a time-consuming and labor-intensive process,” says Milwaukee Tool Product Manager Bryan Bunner. “The M18 FUEL delivers a disruptive solution that increases productivity by replacing the existing hammer and nail process with a faster and safer solution.”
The tool leverages nitrogen air spring technology, a Powerstate Brushless motor, and Redlink Plus Intelligence hardware and software to deliver the performance to seat nails into wooden formwork materials. Designed with trade-focused features, the M18 FUEL is equipped with tool-free jam clearance and depth of drive adjustment to minimize downtime on the job.
The 9.5-lb. tool is compatible with the Milwaukee Collated Duplex Nails and available in 8D and 16D sizes with 2.25-in. and 3-in. drivable lengths. The proprietary fasteners deliver easier nail removal with a larger diameter head than other collated duplex nails and increased distance between nail heads. The M18 FUEL joins the M18 System of 250-plus solutions and is compatible with all M18 Redlithium batteries. — Milwaukee Tool, Brookfield, Wis., 800/729-3878; www.milwaukeetool.com
