The American Concrete Pipe Association will present one virtual plant tour and three webinars during Concrete Pipe Week 2024, September 22-28, while saluting governors and other public officials who formally recognize concrete drainage structures’ contributions to quality of life. “Proven,” the theme of this year’s event, frames the four presentations ACPA members and staff plan for engineers, contractors, owners and other parties who benefit from the extended life cycle performance of reinforced concrete pipe, box culvert and related precast elements:
- Projects, September 23 webinar, 1 p.m. CST
- Quality, September 24 virtual tour, 11 a.m. CST
- Resilience, September 25 webinar, 12 p.m. CST
- Sustainable, September 26 webinar, 1 p.m. CST
Registration and additional details for each can be obtained here.
Beyond spotlighting the contributions of reinforced concrete pipe and precast structures to States and Provinces and their buried infrastructure, ACPA views Concrete Pipe Week as an opportunity to acknowledge external and internal partners: Agencies, departments of transportation and academia; engineering firms, contractors and trucking interests; plus, aggregate, cement, casting, formwork and steel producers.
