Lafarge, VCNA Prairie veteran Nolan leads Sunrock Industries

Sunrock Industries, a key North Carolina ready mixed concrete, aggregates and asphalt producer with Ontario and Alberta satellite operations, has named Mike Nolan as president. He arrives with 20-plus years in construction materials management roles, primarily Lafarge North America, Lafarge Group and VCNA Prairie. During assignments in Illinois for the latter producer and on both sides of the Atlantic for Lafarge, he had responsibilities for sales & marketing, mergers & acquisitions, enterprise information technology and operations. Most recently, Nolan headed Suit-Kote Corp., an asphalt pavement preservation specialist with New York and Pennsylvania locations. A Maryland native, he holds an undergraduate degree from Franciscan University in Ohio and MBA from Loyola College in Baltimore. He will be based at Sunrock Industries headquarters.
