Belgard adds texture to national catalog with Papyrus pavers

The Belgard modular paver concept affords design flexibility and creativity, making it simple to mix and match units to suit individuals’ style and vision, while also reducing costs, waste, and installation timing.

Belgard, the leader in outdoor living essentials made of concrete, metal or composite materials, has announced nationwide availability of is newest paver texture. Papyrus is the latest concrete paver addition to the Artisan Collection, which offers new and unique textures designed for elegant, contemporary outdoor living. Reminiscent of handmade textiles or dried earth, Papyrus embodies the spirit of biophilic design, which is centered on incorporating organic elements and textures into the built environment. Homeowners are increasingly interested in organic design elements that can create a more livable backyard space.

“We developed Papyrus as a product to meet the design preferences of today’s homeowner. It offers clean, modern edges with a unique face that mimics the look of hand-tooled striations and the texture of organic textiles,” says Joe Raboine, vice president of Design for Atlanta-based Oldcastle APG. “The texture and design are on-trend, and the modular system offers benefits to both the contractor and the homeowner. We’re excited to offer this product nationwide and to see it come to life in projects across the country.”

Offered in two trend-forward color options, Scandian Grey and Sepia, Papyrus concrete pavers are the newest texture of Belgard’s modular paver line, where units are molded in 3-inch increments. Such sizing simplifies design and installation, creating efficiencies for both contractors and homeowners. The Papyrus paver line is a three-piece system that effortlessly blends with Belgard’s Origins stone textured pavers, Dimensions smooth face pavers, or other regionally available modular systems.
